VISION
River City Community Sailing’s vision is to increase the community’s access to and involvement in sailing, racing, and enjoyment of the natural beauty, ecological value, and historical significance of the Pasquotank River in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

MISSION
River City Sailing's mission is to foster and facilitate recreational and competitive sailing, sportsmanship, water safety, teamwork, and community service for youth, families, and adults of Pasquotank and surrounding counties in Northeastern North Carolina.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
River City Community Sailing (RCCS) is an organization that provides affordable coaching, training, and instruction in fundamental sailing skills. RCCS's seminal program is the Youth Sailing Camp which utilizes “Reach,” U.S. Sailing’s national education initiative designed to inspire sailing programs and schools to utilize sailing as an educational platform for youth of all backgrounds. The program modules are based on a STEM curriculum.
In addition to the educational benefits, the Sailing Camp is designed to offer a unique medium for personal growth and enrichment. Youth will increase their confidence, self-reliance, competency, respect for others, and leadership skills on and off the water.
